Beecott Chardonnay aka 'Cindy' was purchased by us in March 2020 as the first mare for Kaleo van Orchid's to cover. We are very familiar with her bloodlines, having met her sire, FS Champion de Luxe, way back in 2008 when we visited Ferienhof Stuecker. Cindy was graded in 2015 with the BEF Futurity, receiving a 9/10 for her trot.  We hope to have Cindy with us for a very long time, and we hope she will produce some nice foals for us.

FS Champion de luxe is a FEI dressage pony stallion who was a Bundeschampion in both 2001 & 2002. He has sired over 95 approved sons and 86 premium mares. He has sired FEI ponies in all 3 disciples, including multiple dressage ponies at the European Pony Championships. FS Champion de Luxe’s sire is FS Cocky Dundee, a successful eventing pony and his dam’s sire is the legendary Golden Dancer, who won team and individual gold at the European Pony Championships in dressage in 1996. In 2020, FS Champion de Luxe is still in second place for German Riding Pony stallions with the highest earning offspring.

Beecott Chardonnay's dam is State Premium mare Bella Bagira. Bella Bagira is a maternal half sister to FEI dressage pony St.Pr.St Naturell (by Nantano) and a full sister to a handful of dressage and jumping ponies in Germany. Bella Bagira’s sire is Batman (Bavarottie x Loriot) who competed in both dressage and jumping. Her dam’s sire is Durello, a jumping pony who was also very influential in pony breeding. He was the leading German Riding Pony sire based on earnings in 2002 & 2003.
Bella Bagira has only been used as a broodmare since she was imported to the UK. Two of her offspring have been exported to North America, inclduing FEI Driving Pony Chardonnay 76 (by Casino Royale K)
