Kaleo van Orchid's, aka 'Leo' is the foundation stallion for our new breeding program in Europe. He is the full sister to 2 top track ponies, one of which competed at the European Pony Championships in 2021 (Orchid's Anucia)
After buying his niece, Orchid's Dixie in 2016, I quickly became a big fan of the Orchid's ponies and knew that I wanted to buy another one. By doing research for 2 years I figured out the exact pedigree I wanted to buy, and in 2018 my dream finally came true when we visited Orchid's Paardenmelkerji and purchased Leo as a yearling. Leo arrived in the UK in March 2019 as a pretty much unhandled 2 year old. When collecting him from the transport company's property we were shocked when he loaded straight into our trailer without any hesitation - or sedatives! Since then Leo has done nothing but amaze us with his super chilled out temperament. My mother, who has been dealing with young horses for the past 17 years, describes him as 'one if the easiest, quietest youngsters I have ever met'.
Leo started his competition career in the summer of 2021 as a 4 year old - winning his first show. He has quickly moved up the levels from crosspole classes to 80cm in a few months. In 2022 our goal is to compete in affiliated showjumping.
Kaleo van Orchid's is not at public stud, we only intend to breed him to our own mares.

Kanshebber is one of the most successful pony jumping sires in Europe. He competed in international pony jumping classes himself, but is more well known for his extremely talented offspring. He has sired 33 FEI ponies so far, including multiple that have competed at the European Pony Championships in all 3 disiplines.

Kanshebber is very well bred himself, his sire Krimh ox jumped 1.35m in horse classes (but he was only 152cm) and his dam Daisy Brown jumped up to 1.40 pony tracks, and won the European Pony Championships in 1986.
Kanshebber has consistently had offspring at the European Pony Championships almost every year for over a decade now.
Unfortunately Kanshebber passed away in 2018 with no frozen semen collected beforehand, meaning there is only a limited number of his offspring left.

Orchid's Sweet Harmony is a parental half sibling to many FEI Ponies, including Orchid's Tracey who was individual 4th at the European Pony Championships.
