Hilkens Gold Card is the Competition Stallions Leading Sport Pony Sire 2021. He is the sire of multiple premium graded offspring, including licensed stallion Delaroche Black Gold who has just started his BD career.
Hilkens Gold Card had a short but successful career in the sport, placing well in many of his BD competitions, ridden by FEI pony rider Ollie Booth. Being a breeding stallion is now his main priority. Despite being bred for dressage, he also shows talent for jumping, having scored a 8.5 for his jump during his grading.
Hilkens Gold Card is the half sibling to 11+ fei ponies, 23 approved stallions and 11 state premium mares through his sire’s side - FS Golden Highlight. FS Golden Highlight was the winner of his licensing and 2x bundeschampion winner (German young horse championships) as a 3 and 4yo. Gold Card’s dam is the State Premium mare Schamila, who won her mare performance test in Germany. She has been a very successful broodmare, producing top ponies such as FEI dressage pony Hilkens Denali (exported to Australia) and St.Pr Hilkens Sheylah (exported to the US). Schamilla is also the full sister to Elite St.Pr Sira, who has produced Bundeschampion winner BKS Coolio, jumping pony and approved stallion Constantino WE, Weser Ems eventing championships winner St.Pr Syrah (who is also the dam of Hilkens Black Delight) and approved stallion BKS Checkmate.
Hilkens Gold Card’s dam’s sire is the Elite stallion Black Boy, who can also be found in the pedigree of many fei ponies. Black Boy is the sire of 20 licensed sons and 15 state premium mares.

Dam: Beecott Chardonnay

Dam is our lovely Beecott Chardonnay. She was graded with the British breeding futurity as a 2 year old and scored a 9.0 for her trot, which is not a surprise as she has super movement, with both a big trot and canter. She is definitely the best moving pony I’ve ever owned, and the best dressage bloodline! Her sire is FS Champion de Luxe, one of the best German riding pony stallions of all time. He has 46+ offspring competing at FEI level in all disciplines, including NK Cyrill, FS Coco Jambo, Chantre 31 & Champ of Class wh have all competed at the European pony championships and Crazy Cinderella, a Grand Prix jumping pony.
FS Champion de Luxe’s sire is FS Cocky Dundee, a successful eventing pony, and his dam’s sire is Golden Dancer, who was team & individual gold at the European Pony Championships for 1996.
Beecott Chardonnay’s dam is Bella Bagira, who was awarded the prestigious state premium title in Germany after placing reserve champion at the Elite mare show at the Westphalian Championships 2007. She also won both her qualifying rounds for the championships.
St.Pr Bella Bagira is the maternal half sister to FEI Dressage pony St.Pr Naturell, licensed stallion Centaurus D’arx and the full sibling of dressage ponies St.Pr Bella Bavaria and Bon Cello.
Bella Bagira is also the dam of an FEI driving pony, who is sired by FEI Dressage pony Casino Royale - another son of FS Champion de Luxe. Bella Bagira’s dam, Donna Bell, is also a state premium.
Beecott Chardonnay’s dam’s sire is Batman, who is by the Black Boy son Bavarottie. Bavarottie won his licensing in 1992, and competed twice at Bundeschampionate. Bavarottie is also the dam’s sire of Bundeschampionate finalist Golden Rock (exported to Australia)
